Cabarete catamaran
Cabarete catamaran charters are a great way to experience a double hulled boat, its magnificent extra width, and that blissful feel of freedom in the blue ocean of the Puerto Plata North Coast. The private catamaran tours depart every day for morning, afternoon and sunset so make the most of the sun or enjoy part of the evening partying with best friends.
The catamaran charters use Sosua Bay as the main hub to depart from, as there are plenty coral reefs there, and the main travel path for tour boats going to key snorkel spots such as Three Rocks, Cabezos, Sosua Beach, etc; guests are taken by dinghy to the catamaran docked in the bay.

The Cabarete catamaran charters can be booked with a Fountaine Pajot 43 Ibiza, a gorgeous model by the famous French shipyard, the best in the world. This model has cabin berths, bathrooms, a nice salon with kitchen, aft dinette, BBQ, trampoline, vanity seats in the bow, an ample catamaran deck, large sails and full crew.
Catamaran Charter Cost
The cost of the tour is only USD$1100.00 for 1-18 people, includes a case of beer; also rum, sodas, water bottles and food (a choice of BBQ chicken, wings, ribs or sandwiches) and the option for guests to bring anything extra at no surcharge. The Lagoon 52
A highlight in the listings is the Lagoon 52 Catamaran, featured in the Sosua Catamaran Trip article published in this website. This is the largest of all the cats, as it was custom remodeled to fit more people, by removing unneeded cabinets from its interior and make it purely a party boat with onboard whirlpool. This tour also departs from Sosua, just a 7 minute drive from Cabarete.
The Privilege 52
Another fantastic option is the Privilege 52 catamaran, published in this website for the Puerto Plata private catamaran article. It is a fully equipped boat with 4 berth cabins, each well appointed with bathroom, storage areas and high end finish. It also has a fully fitted galley kitchen, a 180-degree sofa area with spacious dinette right at the center of the vessel, featuring A/C inside.
