By 2023 Cabarete Carnival is back, on March 25th and the vibrant, colorful comparsas dancing to the rhythm of local music. This year celebrates the 10th Annual Cabarete Carnival, where the community comes together to create an event of their own, honoring the country’s local tradition and culture.

Carnival in Cabarete is done with enthusiasm and support, gaining a new tradition to make your own. Founded by local artisans, the event is fortunate to receive support from the community. The parade will start in the Callejón de la Loma, moving along the main street in the center of Cabarete and ending on the beach in front of the restaurants of Cabarete Bay.

This carnival is made possible with the support of local businessmen, authorities, foundations and the people in general who contribute their grain of sand so that the tradition of the Dominican carnival continues to be present in the charming district of Cabarete in the municipality of Sosúa, Puerto Plata province.
